The event, which again will open its doors to anyone interested in a day of education and networking, will take place for the second year in a row at Hellidon Lakes Golf and Spa Hotel near Daventry in Northamptonshire.
The business day will run on a theme of “the continued drive for professionalism”, with elected speakers covering a wide range of issues and initiatives that affect the practice of anyone who is responsible, directly or indirectly, for engineers working in the field of installation and maintenance of catering equipment.
This will then be followed by an informal dinner, giving delegates the opportunity to network with industry colleagues.
At last year’s conference, the gas safety inspection sheet – developed by CEDA’s Technical Steering Group (TSG) and the Catering Equipment Suppliers Association (CESA) – and the first register of qualified engineers were launched. The TSG hope to build on the success of these with a discussion on Technical Bulletin 140 which was recently published by Gas Safe Register along with other topics discussed such as the Water Regulations and non-gas related safety issues.
Peter Kay, Director of the TSG, said: “Due to the continued success of the Technical Conference, we have again decided to open it up to all interested parties in the hope that it will provide the industry with invaluable insight and solutions to help people maintain a professional standard of workmanship.”
