Celebrating “continued excellence of projects and service delivered by ceda members,” the annual awards are now in their 32nd year.
Neville replaces Brain Booth, who retired last year after six years as a judge, and joins existing judge John Savage.
He said: “I am extremely happy to be invited to judge the ceda Grand Prix awards and am looking forward to visiting the sites with John, to view the great projects produced by ceda members in 2018.”
Neville and Savage will now go through entries and announce the shortlisted members. They will then visit all finalists to “gauge a better understanding” of the project put forward and decide the winner of each category (as listed below):
- Small Project (up to £100,000 in value)
- Medium Project (between £100,000 and £300,000)
- Large Project (over £300,000)
- Outstanding Customer Service Award
- Project Management
- Rising Star Award
Adam Mason, ceda director general, added: “With a huge knowledge and experience base, having worked in various roles across the industry during a long and distinguished career, Ron is perfect for the role.”
The winners will be announced at the Grand Prix Awards gala on 5 April – the final day of the annual ceda Conference (4-5 April, Heythrop Park).
