The first virtual event features industry speakers who will give their thoughts and opinions about the future of the sector.
Hosted by Peter Martin and broadcast from a live studio, the Ceda live events will explore where the hospitality industry is and how the sector can re-build itself.
Attendees will be given the opportunity to attend ‘virtual booths’ to watch product/service presentations.
Adam Mason, director general of Ceda, said: “Being a digital event it gives us the opportunity to welcome more members of staff from more Ceda members as well attracting operators, end-users and Industry press who will all benefit from the programme we are putting together.
“Whilst we appreciate it won’t quite be the same as a live face-to-face event, we have invested in a software platform to ensure that the day is as professional as possible and runs smoothly and efficiently.”
Following a brief break to allow attendees to change into ball gowns and dinner jackets, Chris Brazier will then host the postponed 2020 Grand Prix Awards ceremony where the winners of the various categories for projects completed in 2019 will be announced.
