New ops manager at Catermasters
Abstract
Catermasters has strengthened its operational team in London by recruiting Paul Cooke to the role of operations manager.

The 46-year-old joins the national contract catering specialist from BaxterStorey where he filled a similar role for close to four years. Prior to that, he worked for the Compass Group.

Cooke, who has a craft-based background, will be responsible for retaining and developing the portfolio of Catermasters clients in London. He is the second operations manager to join Catermasters recently, following the appointment of Jayne Edwards.

“Joining Catermasters is a great opportunity to get back into the city, which I believe is at the heart of good food and innovation. My target is always to deliver fresh, honest food and I’m excited to be joining a like-minded team of people at Catermasters. People and food are so important to each other and I think that comes out in the quality of Catermasters’ service delivery.”

Catermasters joint managing director, Nigel Johnson, welcomed Paul to Leamington-based business. He said: “London is already a hugely valuable market for us but we want to increase our presence even further.

“I believe Paul’s skills and experience in London will be extremely important – both in terms of reaching out to existing and new clients, as well as delivering innovative food that is the best in the sector.”
