Catermasters secures DHL Mothercare contract

8th Sep 2009 - 00:00
Abstract
Catermasters, a supplier of contract catering solutions, has secured its second deal with DHL Mothercare.
As part of the deal, Catermasters will be required to provide a complete catering service for the 300-strong workforce at DHL Mothercare. It will also be introducing a brand-new hospitality service and menus to cater for the regular meetings that are held at the site. The staff restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner service and a chef manager, a chef and two general catering assistants have been appointed to ensure a high quality service is delivered. Nigel Johnson, joint managing director of Catermasters, said: "It had been five years since DHL Mothercare last 'tested the market' in terms of looking to see what other workplace caterers could offer to improve the service available to its staff. "DHL Mothercare knew about our excellent reputation from the quality of the work that we already deliver at another contract we have – DHL Power Logistics – but we still had to prove our mettle during the tender process. As a company, we're thrilled to have secured another contract and we know the staff at DHL will notice a tangible difference in the quality of the service that will be available to them." DHL Mothercare spokesman, Matt Window, welcomed the appointment of Catermasters. He said: "We are all looking forward to working with a catering supplier that has clearly demonstrated how much energy and enthusiasm it is prepared to put into its food and service. I know the Catermasters team will make a huge difference to our operation in Daventry."
