Catermasters hosts charity golf day

25th Jun 2008 - 00:00
Abstract
Catermasters, the Leamington-based providers of contract catering services, is hoping to raise £2,500 tomorrow (26 June) at a golf day for the Myton Hospice charity.
Myton Hospice, which has three residential care homes close to Catermasters headquarters in Leamington spa, provides specialist palliative care for adult patients with progressive life limiting illness. Catermasters has invited a mixture of clients, suppliers and employees to take part in the charity fundraiser. The Fourball Betterball tournament will be followed by a raffle, presentation and an informal meal. Nigel Johnson, joint managing director of Catermasters, said: "As a company, we like to do our bit when it comes to supporting local, needy charities and Myton Hospice is close to our hearts for many reasons." Catermasters is also a supporter of the 'One Water' charity and sells its bottled water through the majority of its catering outlets. The profit that is generated through sales of 'One Water' is used to provide clean drinking water to children in South Africa. The event will be kicking off at Warwickshire Golf Club in Warwick.
