The independent catering company Vacherin has been recognised for quality and environment management after picking up two prestigious industry accreditations.
The company, based in London, has received certifications from the International Organization for Standardisation (ISO) for its dedication to quality control (ISO 9001) and minimizing environmental damage (1SO 14001). Environment and sustainability lead for Vacherin, Gerard Jacob, who led the initiative for the ISO 14001 award said: "We have always been a very green aware company and take pride in staying at the forefront of developments in sustainable business practices. "To gain ISO 14001 we implemented an extensive plan, highlighting our goals and introducing new policies to help us to maintain the same high standards of environmental management in the future." The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) is a non-governmental body, which sets the level for industry management standards through internationally recognised ISO certifications.
