Abstract
Workplace catering specialist Catermasters has raised an impressive £14,000 for a hospice charity after holding a fundraising golf day last week.
The Myton Hospices charity, based in Coventry and Warwickshire, provides end of life care to adult patients with progressive life-limiting illness. Catermasters raised the sum after holding its third annual Golf Day at the Warwickshire Golf and Country Club in Leek Wooton on Thursday. The event saw 100 guests, including the company's staff, clients and staff dig deep to raise money for the event which is held in aid of The Myton Hospices, a group of three hospices that each provide palliative care for 200 adult patients with progressive life-limiting illness and their families. Guests enjoyed a battle for prizes including a Mini Cooper and other fundraising activities before enjoying an informal meal and drinks at a special auction bid before reaching the sum of £14,000 - £8,000 more than raised at last year's event.
