The contract, which was won by Team Academy in September 2011, operates a restaurant, cafe and snack service within the centre which caters for 1,800 staff, visitors and students, who are aged 4-18.
Wooldale Centre for Learning is an educational facility that incorporates the Caroline Chisholm school, a public learning resource centre and extensive outdoor and indoor sports facilities.
The Food for Life Silver accreditation is awarded to caterers at educational facilities such as Wooldale that serve healthy, ethical menus using local produce which encompass five per cent organic ingredients.
The location must also have a cooking club where pupils can get together to make meals using produce from the site’s growing area. Parents and members of the wider community are similarly encouraged to take part in food education at themed events hosted by Team Academy.

Catering Academy was formed in 2004 by three owner Directors, Kevin Cannon, Louise Wymer and Stacey Rose.
Significant contract wins in the Business, Industry, Education and Healthcare sectors include; Cheshire Police HQ, the University of Bolton, The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, The Studio Venue Company, William Brookes School and Adams’ Grammar School.
