Abstract
Celebrity chef Antonio Carluccio who owns a chain of restaurants bearing his name has admitted himself into the Priory clinic after an incident at his home last week.
The Daily Mail has reported that the Italian chef is due to remain in the clinic for a month and will be treated for depression after stabbing himself in the chest last week. The Italian television chef was rushed to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and later discharged and allowed to go home. Details of what actually happened on the night of the incident, which took place at the chef's home in Battersea, South London, are still unclear. His spokesman has said the matter is private.
