World Baking Day is taking place on Thursday (May 17). To celebrate, Janis Anderson and her team at Caremark Aylesbury are hosting their very own bake-off, open to all.
The local home care provider has invited anyone who wants to take part to bake a cake, cookie or savoury item and take it to the offices at The Firs on High Street in Whitchurch, Buckinghamshire.
At 12 noon, the judges will be sampling the food before announcing the winners.
The judges for the event are: Caremark HR co-ordinator, Dane Taylor and care worker, Lauren. They will be joined by Margaret Palin of Whitchurch Women’s Institute.
There will be prizes and certificates for the best baked food. Pictures will be added to the Caremark Aylesbury Facebook page throughout the day
Afterwards, there will be a social, with tea, coffee and baked goods from the competition.
