Care UK takes on six new homes in Yorkshire
Abstract
Care UK has taken over the leadership and management of six care homes in Yorkshire, formerly operated by Springfield Healthcare.

The care provider has more than 40 years’ experience of providing award-winning, high-quality care for older people. With the addition of these homes, Care UK now operates 164 homes across England, Scotland and Wales as well as having the highest care rating of the UK’s large care providers.

The six properties include Chapter House in Beverley, Chocolate Works in York, Harcourt Gardens in Harrogate, Mayfield View in Ilkley,  Seacroft Grange in Leeds and Seacroft Green in Leeds.

Andrew Knight, chief executive of Care UK, said: “I am very pleased to welcome Springfield colleagues, residents and their loved ones to the Care UK family. I know that care quality has been very important to Springfield. It is a value we share and one we will continue to prioritise in ensuring residents are supported to live fulfilling lives.

“This venture marks an exciting expansion into a new area of the country for us and we believe the quality and calibre of these homes aligns perfectly with the Care UK brand. We are looking forward to getting to know the residents and their local communities as well as supporting and developing our new colleagues.”
