They sampled a seven course tasting menu of the restaurant’s signature modern French cuisine in the Chef’s Library, where a screen allowed them to see the staff at work in the kitchen.
Darren Klein, catering manager at PJ Care, said: “This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for us and we are so grateful to have had this experience. We were blown away with the attention to detail and the care taken with the service.
“The food was stunning; the intensity of the seasoning and flavour, with the cheese souffle being one of the standout dishes. Michel Roux Jr was so supportive and was more than happy to give us hints and tips to follow our dreams.”
PJ Care’s team aim to apply their high standards to the full range of diets required by their residents, including pureed meals.
