The Craft Guild of Chefs Awards recognises and rewards the hospitality industry’s leading talent, and there are now 16 award categories for which nominations are sought covering all aspects of the chef profession across all sectors of the industry.
This includes the new Concept & Innovation Chef Award, which recognises the trendsetters in the industry who are bringing food, fashion and style to the fore.
The 17th award is reserved for a very special person who has made an outstanding contribution to the industry, over and above the call of duty, which is chosen by the committee of the Craft Guild of Chefs.
Last year’s spectacular 20th anniversary gala dinner was attended by almost 900 guests including the Craft Guild’s royal patron, HRH the Countess of Wessex, who presented the awards, and many of the past Special Award winners including Albert Roux, Pierre Koffmann, Professor David Foskett and the 2013 winner James Martin to name a few.
This year’s winners will be announced at a special award ceremony at the Westminster Park Plaza Hotel in London on Wednesday, June 4 2014
• The Craft Guild is asking the industry to make their nominations for the different categories. For more information and a nomination form, visit http://craftguildofchefs.org/cgoc-awards
