Abstract
Over 60 guests gathered at the Business Design Centre (BDC) in Islington to attend the WSH Innovation Day, organised by Bunzl subsidiaries; Lockhart Catering Equipment, Bunzl Catering Suppliers & Aggora.
The event gave Lockhart suppliers with permanent showrooms at the BDC the chance to meet with senior decision makers from WSH and showcase their latest product developments directly. The suppliers included:
- Arc: used the opportunity to showcase three key ranges, each designed with functionality and reliability in mind: Extra Strong, Super Tough and Performance Opal.
- Nevilles: was showcasing their GenWare Vintage Steel collection, including gold, silver, and copper variants to meet demand for colourful presentation.
- Churchill: Designed with a focus on sustainability, the Envisage collection ceramics are made with one firing process rather than the standard two to reduce the energy required to produce them.
- Amefa: ranges are categorised by Good, Better, Best, and separated by industry and sector, so customers can quickly locate a style that suits them within their budget.
Simon Britten, head of marketing at Lockhart Catering, said: “Working collaboratively with other Bunzl subsidiaries means we maximise our reach into our customer base and allows us to fine tune these events for each, whether it’s the latest developments in food packaging from Bunzl Catering Supplies, planned preventative maintenance for appliances via Aggora, or tabletop innovation from Lockhart.”
