The changes will come into effect on 29th February 2016, where Sutherland will also serve on Britvic’s Audit Committee.

Sue has headed up corporate affairs at a number of large British companies and her latter experience running SABMiller Europe places her in a unique position to contribute to the development of Britvic. They are both strong additions to the Britvic Board as we look to continue to develop our business in the UK and internationally.
“I would also like to pay tribute to Bob Ivell. Bob has been our Senior Independent Director since we floated over 10 years ago and has chaired our Remuneration Committee for the last 8 years. We will miss his wise counsel and wish him well in the future.”
Sutherland is currently group CEO of SuperGroup plc, and has previously held senior posts at the Co-op group of companies, Kingfisher plc, B&Q and AS Watson UK. He brings over 22 years experience within the retail and FMCG sectors.
Clark is currently mananging director of SABMiller Europe and is an executive committee member of the global brewer. She joined SABMiller in 2003 and previously held posts for Railtrack Group and Scottish Power.
Ivell was recently appointed president of the Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers (ALMR) and is chairman of operator Mitchells & Butlers and a non-executive director at Charles Wells.
