The water filtration experts donated £1 for every filter exchanged in November 2013, in a bid to raise as much money as possible. The campaign is part of Brita’s ongoing support for Hospitality Action, building on the success of the 2011 filter amnesty, which saw the company raise over £4,000.
Miles Dawson, sales director, Brita Professional commented: “We’re delighted with the result - every penny will go towards helping people in the UK hospitality industry who really need it. It’s a great cause and the whole Brita team is looking forward to raising even more in the future.”
Astrid Wears-Taylor, fundraising and marketing manager, Hospitality Action added: “Hospitality Action are delighted to have the support of Brita Professional once again and are truly grateful for the £2,500 raised. It will go a long way in helping those in our industry who have fallen on hard times.”
