Since joining the water filtration company in 2002, Buckmaster’s “hard work and passion” has shone through, reportedly leading to a 25% increase in sales in the catering sector in the past five years.
Having held a “wide range” of roles in the foodservice sector including positions at Aramark and Häagen-Dazs, Brita said he has a “unique understanding of the operational and commercial needs of not only equipment manufacturers and distributors, but also end users.”
Buckmaster said: “I am thrilled to be the new sales director for Brita Professional – a role that I know will be exciting and challenging. It is an enormously exciting time for the company and I am looking forward to building on Brita’s success in the foodservice industry.”
UK managing director, Sarah Taylor, added: “Steve has been an integral member of the team for many years. The impact he has had within Brita has seen increases in sales and helped firmly position us as leaders within the market.
“That’s why we (Brita) are confident he will excel as our new sales director, and we can’t wait to see him driving our business strategy forward.”
