The new-look website, www.brake.co.uk, includes a number of changes to the design, structure and functionality. Key changes include clearer text and images and simpler content, improving the overall look and feel of the site and making it easier to navigate.
A new product search feature and a ‘Recently Viewed Product’ facility, which displays the user’s last 20 searches, has also been designed to help customers with their purchasing decisions and ensure they stay on top of the latest products and trends.
James Armitage, Brakes Group marketing director, said: “We look to deliver added value and support for our customers wherever possible, whether that is through the sales team, customer brochures or the website.
"The new website has been designed solely with the customer in mind, allowing users to easily navigate a wealth of products. Browsing and ordering has never been quicker or simpler. This is another step towards ensuring that Brakes Group is seen as the market leader within the eCommerce foodservice marketplace.”
