As well as sharing its knowledge, expertise and downloadable resources that it has created specifically for the care sector Brakes will contribute to blog posts, podcasts and events run by The Outstanding Society where it will offer valuable insight for care caterers.
The Outstanding Society was set up as a Community Interest Company (CIC) in 2021. It was formed by a small group of providers all of whom had achieved ‘outstanding’ ratings following the introduction of the CQC inspection standard.
It aims to create a platform to share and celebrate best practice whilst helping others to improve and raise the profile of social care. These resources are free as is the membership.
Cathy Amos, head of customer marketing at Brakes, said: "Brakes is absolutely delighted to become a sponsor of The Outstanding Society, an organisation that shares our values and, like us, strives to provide the very best service and support for care caterers.
“The timing of the sponsorship could not be better as Brakes has recently embarked on a wide-ranging campaign to highlight the additional support that it offers to care home owners, managers, procurement specialists, and chefs, over and above its market-leading range of food, drink and catering supplies.
“We look forward to working with The Outstanding Society’s visionary leadership team and sharing our knowledge, expertise and resources not just with them but also with the many people within the care sector who look to it for help and guidance."
By joining forces, care homes across the country can anticipate access to a ‘wealth of knowledge’ and resources that will empower them to provide 'exceptional dining experiences' for their residents.
