Under the new deal, Lindley Venue Catering re-launched the retail catering on the public concourse in preparation for the Bantams first match on home turf as 2013-14 Football League 1 contenders on August 10.
A selection of Lindley’s award-winning branded retail concepts, including Franks’ Original New York Streetdogs, The Pie Factory and Flaming Good Burger (FGB) outlets are being installed as part of the new food offer.
David Baldwin, director of operations at Bradford City FC, said: “The club’s promotion to League 1 has provided us with an ideal opportunity to review our catering services and we believe Lindley Venue Catering is best placed to help us to improve and develop the food offering for our fans and away visitors on matchdays. They have a strong infrastructure and resource pool in Yorkshire and being established in the region has given them a good feel for local preferences and tastes.”
Jonathan Davies, The Lindley Group’s sales & marketing director, added: “As well as introducing new concepts and initiatives at the ground on matchdays, we will also be working with the team at Bradford City FC to engage more with fans and encourage them to use the new facilities and support their club even further with a percentage of the returns from catering being reinvested into the club.”
