Abstract
London's Borough Market has picked up three major awards in just a couple of months.
The renowned market won The Evening Standard's London's Best Shopping Experience Award, The Evening Standard London's Best Market Award, and The Natural Association of British Market Authorities (NABMA) Best Speciality Market 2008 Award. The NABMA award ceremony will be held at a special breakfast at Roast restaurant in Borough Market at 9.30am on 9 April. Graham Wilson, NABMA's chief executive, said that Borough had "The little extra ingredient that persuaded the judges it was a worthy winner." Upon collecting the Evening Standard Award, Trustee Will Sibley, said: "Our aim at Borough Market is to educate, enthuse and excite. To bring sights, smells, tastes and experiences to the people of London, and to support the small farmers, growers, producers and importers that put so much effort into the produce they sell."
