Abstract
Global foodservice contractor BonCulina UK has announced the appointment of former PSC100 chair Andy Jones as the new head of service development.

BonCulina has experience in the public sector and contract catering, having held pivotal roles across organisations including the National Health Service (NHS).

Rickard Gillblad, group chief executive of BonCulina, said: "Andy's profound expertise and passion for food service excellence are unparalleled. His vision aligns seamlessly with BonCulina’s ethos of exploring new horizons in food sectors and offerings. We are thrilled to have him lead our journey into novel service developments and innovations.”

Throughout his 40-year career, Jones has served as the chair of the Hospital Caterers Association (HCA) as well as the chair of the PSC100 Group (now Public Sector Catering Alliance).

He co-runs Nutrition & Hydration Week, which aims to highlight, promote and celebrate improvements in the provision of nutrition and hydration locally, nationally and globally.

Commenting on the news, Jones added: "I am truly excited to embark on this new chapter with BonCulina and see what we can accomplish together. With our shared values and commitment to excellence, there is immense potential for growth and innovation—nothing’s impossible."

BonCulina believes this appointment marks a ‘significant step’ as it continues to ‘elevate its offerings and deliver exceptional food service solutions’ to clients nationwide.
