Kuefler will take on a key leadership role in driving BM's sustainability and social impact initiatives. She will also support the company on its journey to becoming B Corp Certified.
Commenting on her appointment, Kuefler said: “I’m delighted to be joining BM and supporting the business as it continues to build on its already industry-leading sustainability initiatives.”
The ESG project manager will focus on further embedding charitable and social enterprise efforts into the fabric of the organisation, enhancing a culture of engagement and participation across teams. Kuefler will work on developing new, forward-thinking sustainability initiatives that further distinguish BM in the marketplace.
She will report to Antony Prentice, joint managing director of BM Caterers. He said: “This is significant move for BM. Whilst we have been at the forefront of ESG activity in our sector for quite some time, we believe there is a lot we and the rest of the sector can do to keep driving positive change for the communities we operate in and the wider world.
“Environmental, Social and Governance is naturally embedded in everything that we do but we are incredibly excited to welcome Elisabeth to the as she will give us additional expertise to real drive through some brilliant initiatives we are looking to develop.”
