The winners list recognises BM employees from across the business ranging from operations professionals and chefs to marketing, sales and coffee specialists. Each winner received a signed certificate, as well as being publicly recognised through a series of celebratory posts on BM’s internal communications app.
Team members may not just be recognised for the work they do but also for their life outside of work. This may include charity work, pursuing development or education opportunities, recognition from clients and customers, or powering through difficult circumstances.
Murray Soper, BM’s team and talent manager, said: “Equality, diversity, inclusion and belonging are key to our people focus. In recognition that there are people who do not identify with the gender binary, we felt the time was right to move away from separately celebrating ‘Inspiring Men’ and ‘Inspiring Women’.
“We have many people in our workplace who inspire those around them, and we wanted to celebrate them and recognise the part they play in making BM a great place to be.”
