Abstract
Members of the Cost Sector Catering Contract Caterer of the Year Award, Blue Apple, have so far raised £720 for The Brain Tumour Charity.
On 14 October, 17 members of the team completed a 10km ‘twilight walk’ around Windsor.
Blue Apple wanted to raise as much money as possible to fund research to help defeat the disease.
Ruston Toms, founding director at Blue Apple, has been closely involved in fundraising for the charity since his own son, Jordan, was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2015 whilst at university.
Since then, Blue Apple has become an official partner to the charity and continues to maximise its efforts wherever an opportunity presents itself.
