The awards were open to all 1,600 employees throughout the northern region where colleagues nominated ‘Northern Star’ performers across 11 categories touching all areas of the business.
The ceremony was held at the Low Wood Bay Hotel on the banks of Lake Windermere in the Lake District on Thursday 23rd July 2015.
Awards included Site Excellence Manager Award; Warehouse Person of the Year (Nights); Warehouse Person of the Year (Days); Sales Leader of the Year; Driver of the Year; Telesales Executive of the Year; Specialist Sales Person of the Year; Operational Leader of the Year; Support Service Person of the Year; Business Manager of the Year; and the prestigious Managing Director’s Award.
Maureen Hewitt, telesales manager from the Birmingham depot received the 2015 Managing Director’s Award for Exceptional Performance.
