Bidvest 3663 signs £3.5m contract with education caterer AIP Group

Foodservice provider Bidvest 3663 has signed a contract with education caterer The AIP Group of Companies to supply food, snacks and drinks to over 260 schools in a deal worth £3.5 million annually.

Following a competitive tendering process, Bidvest 3663 was chosen for its wide range of quality, competitively priced products that meet the requirements of the education sector and its commitment to supporting the needs of each school involved in the scheme.

Bidvest 3663 will make it easier for AIP’s school caterers to meet the requirements of the School Food Plan by providing a comprehensive selection of food and drink items that are compliant with the new School Food Standards, complemented by guidance, practical ideas and recipe inspiration in line with the latest food trends.

Paul Brown, business development controller for the education sector at Bidvest 3663, said: “Bidvest 3663 has a wealth of experience working in the education sector and with the introduction of Universal Infant Free School Meals, the School Food Plan and, most recently, allergen regulations, we understand that school caterers face more challenges than ever.
