Praised by the University of West London (UWL) as a driving force in raising awareness of some of the biggest issues facing the industry, Kemp was awarded the doctorate at Wembley Stadium yesterday, 25 July.
As well as his dedication to protecting universal free school meals and highlighting the benefits of children’s attainment through good nutrition and hydration, UWL commended Kemp for his commitment to many of the industry’s leading charities and organisations. This includes: Springboard, Hospitality Action, the One and All Foundation and the British Hospitality Association, for which he focuses on championing positive change across the industry.

“Over the course of my 36 years in this great industry I have been privileged to witness many challenges, opportunities and experiences. This is a great industry and it’s given me not only the pleasure of working with some amazing people but also the opportunity to play an important part in raising awareness of key issues facing foodservice and hospitality.”
