Bidfood announces trend-driven 2018 summer range

Wholesaler Bidfood announces 2018 summer range, inspired by the latest “trends driving consumer choice” to “help caterers kick-start the new season” and capitalise on new-to-market food and drink products.

Following “extensive” research into the latest dining trends,  ‘Create Summer’ includes a number of new vegan and Middle Eastern dishes such as freekah, lamb kibbeh and a vegan chocolate caramel brownie.

 

It has also reformulated a number of its own-brand products having worked alongside Public Health England (PHE) to address “operators’s needs to meet the latest sugar targets.”

 

With a newly-developed nutritional screening tool, which enables Bidfood to “review the nutritional content of products within its own brand range to build its nutritional credentials and support its healthy eating agenda,” new products include a lemon and raspberry ginger crunch dessert and vegan coconut and chocolate tart.

 

The new range is available to order for 1 March, with more information available online.
