Abstract
Neil Parmar has been appointed sales manager for connected products at BGL Rieber.

Commenting on his appointment he said: “Technology is the way forward. Rieber is at the forefront of development in this field. Its range of Connected Products have enormous potential across the catering industry, for managing Rieber products such as K-Pot and Multipolar, but also in the daily need for HACCP requirements with hygiene and maintenance recording amongst other things which would need to be checked and accounted for.

“Rieber Check Cloud, for example, applies across the industry because it collates, stores, and manages information in real time. The hygiene and HACCP benefits are well suited to chain and group operations where the benefits are multiplied.”

Neil Parmar has a varied background as a sales professional working with technology-driven products. His experience includes working with BT and a range of companies selling product applications for vending and snack foods, photo ID and payment processing.

Gareth Newton, managing director of BGL Rieber, added: “Neil’s background, expertise and enthusiasm made him the ideal candidate to build on the innovations from Rieber, with the promise of more to come. This German engineered product range is innovative and takes catering equipment into a more sustainable, efficient, and consistent future.”
