Bestway Wholesale appoints new head of catering to ‘drive growth’

Foodservice distributor Bestway Wholesale announced that David Livingstone has been promoted to head of catering yesterday (8 January), to ‘drive (the company’s) growth’ in the catering market.

Having joined the company in 2005 as regional operations and project manager, Livingstone brings over 15 years’ experience to his new role which will see him manage Bestway Wholesale’s delivered and collect catering propositions.

 

He commented: "I’m very excited to take up my new role as head of catering. The market has huge potential and appetite for growth, and I’m looking forward to putting plans into action, ensuring that potential is fully realised for Bestway Wholesale within catering.”
 

Bestway managing director, Dawood Pervez, added: “David’s appointment brings an increased focus on catering to our team, to help (the company) progress even further in delivering what catering customers need.” 

 

His promotion is just one of a number of changes that Bestway Wholesale has made to its ‘evolving’ senior leadership team of late, which included Pervez’s appointment as managing director,
 

Existing employee Tony Holmes will meanwhile assume the role of retail director, managing symbol, multiple accounts, and pet as well as new business development.
