Abstract
Contract caterer Bennett Hay has achieved Planet Mark certification underlining its focus on reducing its impact on the environment.

Since being founded in 2010, Bennet Hay has strived to reduce its carbon footprint by using seasonal and locally sourced produce. The new accreditation forms part of Bennet Hay’s wider ESG strategy and was awarded to the contract caterer after it showed on-going improvement to reduce emissions.

Through Planet Mark, Bennett Hay is helping with various philanthropy projects including protecting an area of endangered rainforest with Cool Earth, a charity working alongside rainforest communities to halt deforestation. Bennett Hay has also made a donation to The Eden Project.

Bennett Hay boasts contracts with some of London’s landmark workplaces due to its long-standing relationships with Landsec, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Savills.

Founder Anthony Bennett, said: “We've always taken sustainability very seriously however wanted to work with an organisation who would continually challenge us to be better around our impact on the planet and our people.

“We've joined a community of likeminded organisations who are also committed to conscious business management and practices. We want to have a positive impact through our business and hope that, in turn, we can empower our community to take climate action too.”
