Abstract
Caterer and hospitality provider Bennett Hay has announced a new partnership with a nutritionist as part of its health and wellbeing strategy.

Fitness coach and food consultant Kate Taylor (left) will work with the London-based caterer by providing her expertise at its workplace cafes.

She has been charged with implementing the hospitality group's newly designed RESTORE programme which focuses on four key nutritional areas; fuel, hearth, core and mood.

The four areas form the focus of a week-long programme put together by Taylor to celebrate Wellness Week, which began yesterday (12 February).

The initiative will include juice and smoothie making workshops, a beans and pulses tutorial and private consultations with employees regarding their individual nutritional needs.

Bennett Hay co-founder and director, Anthony Bennett said: “Our ultimate aim is to ensure a happy, healthy and productive workforce and that starts with the right fuel for the day. Kate’s fantastic initiatives will allow us to take our offering to another level and deliver a truly holistic mental and physical wellbeing programme for our clients and their guests.”

Taylor added: “I’m delighted to be partnering with Bennett Hay to support them and their clients with workplace wellbeing. Food and health at work is the cornerstone of a happy and productive workforce and the contract catering industry has so much responsibility to ensure it’s right, particularly now with so much conflicting information surfacing.

“One of our main projects in 2018 will be focussing on delivering personalised nutrition at work, through private consultations as well as bespoke meal creation and delivery.”
