Running across its Twitter channel until 17 December, the company is calling on catering establishments, owners and employees to follow @bbfoodservice and tweet any food or drink product under £150 that they would like delivered to see if it “can come up with the goods.”
Managing director Martin Race said: “For food and drink businesses, it’s the busiest time of the year. And we know they’re working harder than ever.
“That’s why we want to see if we can put a smile on their faces by delivering their foodie/drinkie Christmas wish. Whether it’s the long-lost chocolate bar of their childhood, or just a well-earned bottle of their favourite drop.”
One winner will be chosen at random for each of the 12 days (6-17 December), and BB foodservice “will do its best to make that Christmas wish come true.”
