The contract will see the caterer offer its services for up to 1,200 staff in Peterborough and a further 350 staff in Falkirk.
John Bennett, co-chief executive at BaxterStorey, said: “Providing staff with the option to make healthier choices in the workplace is becoming increasingly important to our clients.
“Working with our in-house nutritionist, we developed a unique programme to ensure healthy eating in the workplace is both convenient and appetising.”
The caterer will provide its ‘Healthy Me’ initiative, which allows staff to substitute unhealthy snacks with more wholesome alternatives, such as beetroot brownies.
Sam Warden, director of property & procurement at Thomas Cook, said: “We were delighted to appoint BaxterStorey as our catering and hospitality partner. Staff told us they wanted more variety, as well as healthier choices, and so far the feedback has been fantastic.“
