Over 150 people, spanning 22 teams, from the catering and hospitality industry took part in the quiz that featured categories such as Easter, wine and The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The 2019 ACE Quiz winners, Berkeley Scott took the runner-up spot and the headline sponsor, Appetite4Work came third.
Sarah Prentice, ACE vice chair, said: “The annual ACE Quiz Night is the perfect opportunity to bring people together from across the hospitality industry. So much pre-planning and organising goes into this event from our ACE council, but we all enjoy getting together, meeting up with old friends and making new connections. The competitive element always adds an extra level of fun.”
A raffle was held to raise money for charity Hospitality Action, which is the chosen charity of current chair Sue Thompson. The next ACE event will be the Summer Party on Tuesday 28th June which will take place at Kings Place, London and include the ACE Robyns Awards Presentation sponsored by Troika.
