BaxterStorey Team Ride for Charity

18th Jun 2008 - 00:00
Abstract
Around 50 people from across BaxterStorey, gave up their normal Sunday lie ins and instead jumped on their bikes, each cycling 54 miles from London to Brighton, all peddling their way to raising a massive £50,000 for charity.
Explaining why his company is such a regular supporter of the event and British Heart Foundation (BHF), William Baxter, Deputy Chief Executive said: "BHF do a magnificent job in researching, educating and supporting people in the UK about heart disease and we're keen to play our role in assisting their efforts. The bike ride is a great way to help our team keep healthy and enjoy fundraising, but most of all it's great fun."
