The announcement is the latest in Bath Bakery’s rapid expansion programme, which, in just three years, has seen the number of outlets run by the artisan business rise from five to 14.
The first Keynsham Civic Centre concession sees Bath Bakery run a public coffee shop, part of the council's new "one stop shop" access point for services, whilst the other sees the company take responsibility for operating the employee-only restaurant for BANES.
Mark Slevin, managing director of Bath Bakery, said: “There were some very big names vying for the right to run these concessions so it was a great moment when we learned we had won the contracts.
“The new Civic Centre is a truly inspirational place which will be a vital focal point for the entire community and I am extremely proud for Bath Bakery to be part of this important development.”
As well as opening new retail outlets Bath Bakery also recently launched a new range of gluten-free food, called Batch#5, backed by a purpose-built production facility in Farrington Gurney.
Slevin added: “We’re well on course for our best sales year ever and everything is in place to push on into 2015, which is a very special year as it marks Bath Bakery’s 30th anniversary.”
Bath Bakery, founded in 1985, is a family-owned business catering to wholesale and trade customers.
