Abstract
Boutique contract caterer, bartlett mitchell, has appointed Marie Connor to the role of operations director.

Connor’s role will see her focusing on the development of bartlett mitchell’s new major client growth strategy.

Originally from Ireland, Connor has had an international career in hotels, tourism and entertainment working throughout Europe and Australia before settling in London.

For the last 17 years, Connor has been predominantly based in the City and Greater London area and has in depth experience of senior operations and sales roles in contract catering, covering most client sectors from banking and insurance to legal services.  She has also been involved in FM tendering and service provision.

Francois Gautreaux, deputy managing director of bartlett mitchell, commented: “Marie’s indepth knowledge and experience of so many sectors of the competitive London market make her an invaluable new member of our team.  She brings her own unique perspective to our company and her input will help us continue to create the enduring client and colleague relationships that are important to us.  I’m very much looking forward to working closely with her to take our food and service standards to even higher levels.”

Connor added:  “I’ve been really impressed with what I’ve seen since joining the company.  I’m very involved in fundraising and CSR was an important element for me when choosing a new company to work for and I’ve been really pleased to see such a strong commitment to CSR and sustainability at bartlett mitchell.  We have a strong group of managers in place and I’m keen to get on with building a close knit team and achieving some great results.”
