The 2013 National Chef of the Year Hayden Groves, executive chef with contract caterer BaxterStorey, and Young National Chef of the Year Ben Champkin, chef de partie at The Elephant Restaurant in Torquay, are just two of the high profile chefs lined up to appear at the live theatre in London’s ExCeL exhibition centre from April 28 to May 1.
Tom Kerridge from the two Michelin-starred Hand & Flowers pub in Marlow, chef patron of Café Spice Namasté Cyrus Todiwala, and the 2012 National Chef of the Year Alyn Williams, chef patron of Michelin starred restaurant Alyn Williams at the Westbury, will also be among the big names taking to the stage to help businesses improve their culinary skills, hone menu creation and increase margins.
With key sponsors including Churchill, Unilever Food Solutions’ brand Knorr, Mars Uncle Ben’s brand, Smart Training and T&G Woodware on board this year, the Skillery is set to draw people in via practical showcases of the latest cooking trends using the finest ingredients and equipment.
The four-day exhibition will focus on future trends, fresh talent and new ideas to help the UK foodservice and hospitality industry push the boundaries in quality, innovation and sustainability.
