Mark brings a wealth of experience to the committee and is looking forward to working with Nicky Joiner (incoming chair) as she continues the work supporting Scotland Local Authority Service Providers.
The move was supported by current Assist FM chair Chris Ross who said: “Lots to do but a great committee to keep us moving forward!”
Assist FM works on behalf of its members and supply chain to promote the best practice in the industry. Their members are the 32 Scottish Local Authorities. They are ‘proud’ of the work they do and are here to help provide guidance as well as support to those staff and to the organisations they partner with.
The 2024 Assist FM Conference featured a speech from Dr. Katie Wilson of the Urban School Food Alliance (USFA), a four nation panel debate and a session from Nadim and Tanya Ednan-Laperouse about the work of their Natasha Allergy Research Foundation. Dates for the 2025 Assit FM Conference will be announced soon.
