Abstract
Aspire Special Events, part of the Silverstone-based Aspire Group, has secured a three-year deal worth £1.5 million turnover to provide catering and hospitality services to the CLA (Country Land & Business Association) Annual Game Fair.
The CLA Game Fair is a firm favourite in the countryside calendar with 1,000 exhibitors and over 140,000 visitors. A team of 300 Aspire Special Events staff will be catering for over 16,000 people over the three days providing hospitality in the VIP Marquee, the President's Suite and four Hospitality Chalets. Aspire will also provide retail catering in the CLA Members Bar and Restaurant, Hunters Deli Restaurant, and Real Ale Kitchen and Bar. In addition, Aspire will provide a number of bars for Fair visitors – the Pimms Bar, a Pimms & Champagne Bar, the Round Bar and the innovative Bus Bar, which is an original 1967 Routemaster cleverly refurbished into a functioning bar, creating a unique focal point at the event. The CLA Game Fair is a three-day event and this year it is being held at Belvoir Castle, near Grantham in Leicestershire, between July 20-22. The CLA Game Fair celebrates the countryside and showcases the importance of field sports and country activities to the rural economy.
