Speakers revealed for Arena Autumn Event
Abstract
The speakers for the Arena Autumn Event, held on 30 September 2019, have been announced and they will explore ‘the importance of brand reputation in an ever-competitive market.’

The purpose of the event is to interact with leading hospitality and foodservice professionals to build long-term and mutually beneficial relationships.

Andre Johnstone, business development director at Wagamama will hold a talk on ‘the power of delivery’ and how Wagamama’s is pushing the boundaries with new delivery initiatives. Wagamama’s is one of the ‘top brands’ on Deliveroo and Johnstone will give a sneak preview of Wagamama’s new ‘grab and go’ concept.

Paul Whyte, managing director at Best Food Logistics will discuss ‘leveraging simple technology to transform profitability.’ Over the last two years Whyte has ‘transformed’ a loss-making business in Best Food Logistics into a business ‘poised for growth.’

Mark McCulloch, founder of Supersonic Inc, will share his ‘expertise and knowledge’ on how brands recover after a disaster. Over the last 20 years he has held senior positions at Barclaycard, Pret a Manger and YO! Sushi.

Fiona Speakman, client director at CGA Strategy will deliver a business insight session. Speakman will explore which brands are remaining relevant in a saturated market.
