Writtle University is located in the Essex countryside and provides higher education programmes.
The five-year contract will see Aramark relaunch the main restaurant as well as showcasing the latest food concepts. A new salad bar, soup station and plant market station will also be opened.
Lawrence Shirazian, managing director at Aramark Food Services UK, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this contract and really look forward to working with Writtle University. We are excited to create a customised campus dining experience infused with flavour, fun, variety and convenience.”
The ‘Thyme Out’ and ‘Watering Hole’ cafes will get an 'Aramark makeover' to include cold and grab-and-go options, while both cafes will have extended opening hours to better meet student needs. Aramark has announced it has plans to introduce a Starbucks to Writtle University.
