Abstract
The Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) has confirmed that, following Carillion's demise, the food services group Aramark has stepped in to take full control of three major contracts.
The contracts were previously overseen by a joint venture between the two service firms.
Forming part of the DIO’s Hestia programme, the trio of contracts cover catering and related services in the Southeast & London, North and Scotland & Northern Ireland regions.
One of the contracts is valued at £200m with the other two worth around £158m. All run over an initial period of five years.
