Abstract
Aramark has retained its contract to provide catering and hospitality services at the Old Bailey for a further three years.

The new contract starts in September 2013 and will see Aramark operate restaurants for a wide variety of those using the Old Bailey including its judges, barristers, jurors and visitors.  The new contract has an estimated value of £1.2m.

The Old Bailey is the commonly-used name for the Central Criminal Court of England and Wales, which is owned and managed by Aramark’s client, the City of London Corporation. Aramark began providing services there in 2005.

Simon Palfreeman, Aramark’s client relationship director – Judicial, said:  “The Old Bailey is a national icon and is recognised globally as a symbol of British justice.  We are privileged to have provided food service there for the past eight years and excited that we have been retained for a further three.  As always, we will work closely with the City of London Corporation to ensure we meet the varying needs of the Old Bailey’s users, from judges to visitors.”
