Mandy joined Apetito in 2017 and has held numerous roles in Apetito’s Specialist Nutrition and Business Development team, whilst working closely with the company’s Executive Board. Within the Healthcare market she conceptualised and developed CarteChoix Complete, a plated meal range which was launched at the HCA Forum in Liverpool on the 30-31st March 2022.
Speaking about the appointment, she said: “This is an extremely pivotal time in hospital catering with the Government Buying Standards and Hospital Food Review, at the forefront of our customers’ minds. It is also a time of immense importance with economic uncertainty and inflationary pressure, making consistency, cost, and quality of service, vital to hospital catering teams.
“And as the NHS moves towards its Net Zero commitments by 2040, we are proud to be working closely with our customers to support this journey to Net Zero and bring fresh innovation to the table such as our unique reduced carbon menus which are already attracting considerable interest and can reduce menu carbon by as much as 20%. I am very much looking forward to becoming fully immersed in the sector and getting to meet as many people as possible over the coming months.”
