The London Zoo team generated £1.9m in sales despite disruption to business from the opening of the new Terrace Restaurant at a cost of £4.6m. But thanks to serving over 30,000 covers almost 700 events across the zoo’s separate function rooms, the team were 45% ahead of their target.
