Abstract
Swedish baker Almondy has raised a further £2,000 for the Katie Piper Foundation following a week long social media drive, taking the total raised to over £7,500.
Andrew Ely, managing director at Almondy, said: “This year’s focus was about feeling good. The Katie Piper Foundation works tirelessly to support those living with burns and scars and we hope the money raised goes some way to continuing their vital work. I am thrilled that we have managed to raise such a significant amount and our amazing followers should feel incredibly proud of their achievement.”
Twitter users were encouraged to follow and share what made them #FeelGood, with Almondy donating £3 for every participant.
